KEEP GOING for Sarcoma Cancer

Provide hope to newly diagnosed cancer patients by joining us locally at World Gym OR virtually in your own community on June 2nd for our KEEP GOING for Sarcoma Cancer lifting/cardio charity event.

Wake up, work out, and raise money for sarcoma cancer patients!

***The first 100 participants that sign up will receive a free Keep Going t-shirt and wristband!***

WHEN: June 2, 2018

WHERE: World Gym Music City OR participate in your own community virtually

TIME: Locals can arrive at World Gym to work out anytime between 9:00AM and 3:00PM (virtual participants can work out anytime they would like)

TICKET COST: $5 Entry Fee for World Gym participants, $10 Virtual Participant Fee

EVENT DETAILS: There will be two different events you will be able to participate in; lifting and/or cardio.

LIFTING: Max Effort recorded from combination of Bench Press, Back Squat, and Deadlift

CARDIO: Total miles logged from any combination of Treadmill (running or walking), Elliptical, Rowing, or Climbing (Stairs)

HELP US REACH OUR $30,000 GOAL BY GETTING SPONSORED: Just like a jog-a-thon in elementary school, we ask that you reach out to your friends and loved ones to support your efforts by pledging donations. Pledges can be made on an "amount per mile logged and/or lbs lifted" basis or can be collected at any time as a flat donation. Please email Joshpowellfoundation@gmail.com for the PDF sponsorship letter to send out to your sponsors. (Every $30 raised allows us to gift a Powell Pack to a newly diagnosed sarcoma patient)

CAN'T MAKE IT? If you are not local or can't make it to World Gym on June 2nd, we still want you to participate!!!

You will do so by purchasing a ticket for our virtual event and participate in your own community on or around June 2nd. If possible, please take a video of your lifting portion, and a picture of your miles logged on your cardio machine(s) and post them to your Facebook and/or Instagram page. Be sure to tag your sponsors as well as the @joshpowellfoundation with the hashtag, #keepgoing4sarcomacancer.

We fulfill our mission by empowering the minds of newly diagnosed sarcoma patients, providing them with inspiration, encouragement, and motivation to KEEP GOING beginning on their first day of treatment through our "Powell Pack Program."

In order to provide a "Powell Pack" to the projected 1,000 newly diagnosed sarcoma patients that will be treated at MD Anderson Cancer Center this year, we will need to raise $30,000. Please help us reach our goal and fulfill our mission by signing up or donating today! Every dollar counts!
